The anticipation for RIIZE as the cover stars of Billboard’s exclusive digital issue was high, and an in-depth cover story interview was conducted. The group participated in a photoshoot, producing both group and solo shots.
The written interview was initially well-received, allowing RIIZE to share insights into their musical aspirations and achievements. Notably, the piece correctly identified Seunghan as an active member, despite his ongoing hiatus—a detail often omitted by other media.
However, the accompanying video interview drew criticism for errors such as Shotaro’s misspelled name appearing as “Shitaro” on a clapperboard.
Sungchan also fell victim to a misprint, being referred to as “Sunchang” and mislabeled as Seunghan in the post-editing of his segment.
