He divulged further financial strains, confessing, “At this juncture, I find myself in less than favorable financial circumstances, having sold my home and relocated to my office, as I cannot afford a rental deposit. Last year, I grappled with substantial debts arising from settling an apartment deposit under Seo Yu-ri’s name.”
The basis of the couple’s divorce, according to Choi, stemmed from “differences in personality,” which he found to be a significant struggle. However, this standpoint contrasts with Seo Yu-ri’s disclosure on Channel A’s “Dr. Oh’s Golden Clinic,” where she indicated, “Choi’s reluctance to have children contrasted with my desire to start a family.”
At the film conference, Choi humorously drew a parallel between his life and his role in “Tarot,” quipping, “I portrayed a contemptible ex-husband in the movie, which I believe I executed quite adeptly.
