It seems Chris Brown has joined the ranks of performers who have faced unexpected hurdles mid-concert.
While on his 11:11 Tour, which spans across 26 cities in the U.S. and Canada, an incident at the Prudential Center Arena in Newark, New Jersey, left the Indigo crooner suspended in the air during his performance.
On the evening of Tuesday, June 11, while belting out his 2019 song “Under the Influence” and executing some aerial choreography, Brown was visibly stranded aloft the stage on wires that had apparently malfunctioned.

The technical glitch was captured by an attendee who then posted the video on TikTok, commenting, “This man was hanging for a long ass time before anyone realized he was stuck 😩.”
In the footage, Brown can be seen persisting with his performance – continuing to sing – until a ladder was brought out to aid his descent. Remaining a consummate professional, once on the ground, he swiftly resumed the song right from where he left off. Nevertheless, before carrying on, he appeared to express his frustration about the mishap to someone backstage.
