Fans of space exploration can look forward to attending the ‘NASA in the Park’ event, set to take place in Big Spring Park East, Huntsville, Alabama, on Saturday, June 22. The gathering will run from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. CDT and is free for the general public.

The festivities will commence with an inaugural address by Pelfrey alongside local dignitaries on the central stage. The day will see presentations by NASA specialists on topics from advanced space habitats to the utilization of solar sails. Local rock ensemble Five by Five is slated to provide musical entertainment during the event.
Pelfrey also stated, “The team at NASA Marshall is at the forefront of pioneering a new epoch in space exploration for the good of humanity. Our roots run deep within the Rocket City community, which has been instrumental in advancing the frontiers of science, technology, and engineering for nearly 65 years.”
