Taking the form of a midsize SUV, Jeep mentions that this vehicle will grace global markets and confirms its arrival in U.S. showrooms by fall.

Slated for manufacturing in Mexico, the Wagoneer S will initially present itself as a Launch Edition, with Jeep revealing a starting price point of $71,995, destination fees included. Jeep hints at the prospect of less pricey variants down the line but has yet to share specific insights.

First showcased in 2022 alongside the battery electric Recon off-roader, which is also anticipated to debut this year, the Wagoneer S, shares its architecture with the Recon—the STLA Large platform from parent company Stellantis. Equipped with a 100 kwh lithium-ion battery operating at 400 volts, Jeep predicts an EPA range rating of more than 300 miles. Additionally, the ability to replenish from 20-80% in a mere 23 minutes via DC fast-charging enhances its practicality. Range is maximized when cruising, as the front motor disengages under consistent driving conditions such as highway travel.

For navigating challenging terrains, the Wagoneer S incorporates Jeep’s Selec-Terrain drive mode selector, offering settings suited for snow and sand.
